The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for the following Nanozoomer RS Fluorescence System 1:
1. The instrument must be able to scan two different sizes of microscope slides (26 mm x 76 mm and 52 mm x 76 mm)
2. The instrument must have brightfield and fluorescent capabilities.
3. The instrument must be able to generate Z-plane information.
4. The instrument must have the capability to creating high resolution digital images at 40X objective.
5. The instrument must be able to generate tiling artifact free images.
This requirement is being solicited as unrestricted. The standard classification NAICS code is 333314.
All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or https://www.fedbizopps.gov.
The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about, August 31, 2010 and will only be available until September 10, 2010. Specifications of the requirement are provided in solicitation: W81XWH-10-T-0563.
