The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences intends to award a sole source purchase order to Micromass, Inc., Beverly, MA, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for one (1) each of the following: 1) MCAPLC Micromass CapLC, 2) F-NL1 Neslab Merlin M-25 Water Recirculating Chiller, 3) VB-WC13E IEEE Control Card for MassLynx-NT control of Waters Alliance or CapLC HPLC System, 4) V-VFC VariableFlow Chromatography option, 5) F-INSTO Field Installation. This system is to be interfaced and controlled by existing mass spectrometer (MicroMass Q-Tof Ultima Global). This system has integrated peak parking capability that maintains mobile phase pressure while the flow rate at the column is reduced and is controlled through the mass spectrometers data acquisition system. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of date of notice to Dee Lunney at the above address for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible.
