Description: The VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with JALI Medical Inc 500 West Cummings Parks, Suite 2425, Woburn, MA 01801. The VA San Diego Healthcare System has a requirement for Magstim Super Standard Rapid2 Package, which consists of Rapid Unit, Dual Power Supply Module, User Interface U1, Rapid MEP Option, 70mm Double Rapid2 Air Cool Coil, Air Extractor Unit, AFC Coil Strand with Clamp for General Use, Magstim 200 Coil Adaptor, SD Card Reeder, SD Card 32 MB, Printer Package, Rapid Troiley, EMG Triggar Adapter and all connecting cables, and operations manual. System will also include 1 Coil Stand and 70mm Double Rapid air Cooled Coil. This system is capable of providing a better understanding of patients after strokes and the recovering mechanism and the therapeutic values of rTms. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirement under the authority of Far 6.302-1. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition is the only know company that meets all the requirements of the VA San Diego Healthcare System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however; any firm any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contracting officer within seven days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
