The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to ThermoElectron Corporation, located at: 166 Cummings Center, Beverly, MA 01915-6110 for the acquisition of the following equipment in the quantity of two (2) for each of the components: (1) 42240000: Fast GC Accessory; (2) TESTColl: Test Column 5m; (3) TESTDFID: EZ Flash Test Standard Checkout Mix; (4) 42409200: EZ Flash Interface Kit for Agilent 6890 GC; (5) 4124SU: EZ Flash II Installation. The proposed purchase order is for equipment/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with ThermoElectron Corporation under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for ThermoElectron Corporation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334516, “Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing”, and the Size Standard is 500. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement.
