The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to ThermoElectron Corporation, located at 355 River Oaks Parkway, San Jose, CA 95134 for the acquisition of ThermoElectron DELTA V Plus Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer system. The proposed purchase order is for equipment/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with ThermoElectron Corporation under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.5 and under authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for ThermoElectron Corporation.
