This is a notice of intent, not a request for a proposal. A solicitation document will not be issued and proposals will not be requested. This NOI is not a small business set aside. The contractor shall supply one HumanHap650Y v3.0 Whole-Genome Genotyping Kit(24) Each Sentrix HumanHap650Y Genotyping Bead Chip can process one sample and genotype 650,000 loci. Each package contains twenty-four Bead Chips, along with reagents for amplifying, fragmenting. Hybridizing, labeling and detecting twenty four whole-genome genotyping samples. The contractor shall supply one Infinium bead chips for whole-genome genotyping applications using the Bead Station 500 system, includes accessories, software and installation. The contractor shall provide one year maintenance services, repair and on-site services to keep the equipment performance in accordance with the operating specification set forth in the applicable user manual. The sole source justification is based on the manufacturer's proprietary Bead-Array methods to reagents and oligo products and all associated accessories. Illumina is the only known vendor that provides the most consistent genotyping data for large genomic regions that is easily translatable into current databases in efficient manner. One unique feature is genotyping, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), greatly achieve more statistical power and genomic coverage using fewer SNP test services with a rapid turn-around time for deliverables.
