The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 16, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System R&D Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Illumina Inc., pursuant to FAR 6.302-3; for the procurement of methylation, gene-expression and genotyping beadchips. These microarrays will be used with the Illumina iScan and Autoloader2 system (a microarray imaging system and robotic feeder). The VA already has the Illumina's iScan and Autoloader System equipment at the Central Arkansas for scanning of microarrays. These supplies will be utilized with this system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, July 31, 2015, 4:00, EST.
