In accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole-source purchase order to Bee Robotics LTDS in Gwynedd United Kingdom for $38,000.00. The Contractor shall provide assays that have been proven very reliable and sensitive and have become a core of many epidemiological population studies. BeeBlot automates washing and hybridization steps of strips-based assays for the HPV Genotyping kit. BeeBlot instrument would greatly enhance the productivity of CDC HPV Laboratory and reduce repetitive work for laboratory personnel. The BeeBlot device meets all technical specifications. Interested parties who feel that they possess the capabilities to provide the services described above should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to provide the services. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
