This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of High Temperature Blackbody. The anticipated quantity is one (1) each of High Temperature Blackbody. This item is a high temperature blackbody with an entrance aperture diameter of 1 inch and a temperature range of up to 3,000 degrees Celsius. This blackbody will be used to calibrate infrared thermometers. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business. (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures. (4) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firm's capabilities.
