The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 with Foster & Freeman, 25 Swan Lane, Evesham, Worstershire WR11 4PE, UK. The USSS requires a hardware and software upgrade of an existing quantity of one Foster & Freeman brand VSC-2000 Video spectral comparator. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package or specification are available for this proprietary system. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. Award is anticipated within fifteen (15) days. See Note 22. Note 22 is modified to read 5 days in lieu of 45 days.
