This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The Navy has a requirement for one FLIR Systems Thermo Vision SC6000HS InSb Lab with filter Wheel 640x512 f/2.5 Camera, one RTools Radiometric Software Suite and one Spectral Response Testing package. This is a Navy requirement and is to be purchased on a brand-name only basis. The Government intends to buy the camera, software and test package on a firm-fixed price sole source basis with FLIR Systems, N. Billerica, MA in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. FLIR is the only known source that possesses the specialized camera and software suite that is compatible with NSWC Crane-developed software. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination.
