THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Verified (www.vip.vetbiz.gov) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Business (VOSB) sources which can provide the following equipment: Description: Electrophysiology Data Acquisition Digitizer & Software Vendor shall provide all necessary equipment for Electrophysiology Data Acquisition Digitizer & Software. Molecular Devices, Digidata 1500 (analog-digital converter) /pclamp 10 software. This is for the purchase of a data acquisition device designed for use in electrophysiological and biochemical experiments in living animal brain tissue. Digidata 1500 is a low-noise, multichannel analog-digital converter that is compatible with existing equipment (Amplifiers Multiclamp 700B & Axopatch 1B, ). Laboratory personnel have considerable experience and expertise with Molecular Devices instruments and software. Special software protocols have already been created using Molecular Devices pClamp software to run the electrophysiology protocols. Using pClamp software and the Molecular devices AD Converters is essential to maintain consistency and continuity with ongoing experiments in the laboratory. PCLAMP 10 SOFTWARE UPGRADE FROM PCLAMP8 TO 1 EA PCLAMP10,MOLECULAR DEVICES PCLAMP 10 Potential SD/VOSB s having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Dan Salvesen at [email protected] no later than February 16, 2018 12:00 MST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; suggested equipment information including manufacturer, model and delivery schedule; whether system is presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract.
