The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Albany, California has a requirement to purchase an eddy co-variance tower for data collection and assessing plant transpiration. This data collection tower and associated environmental monitoring equipment shall be used in tandem with an existing eddy co-variance tower to assess plant research in two adjacent canopies. This second tower must be identical to the existing data collection tower configuration and calibrated the same in order to be scientifically comparable. This eddy co-variance tower meets our plant research requirements and the Government intends to negotiate with the only known responsible source, Campbell Scientific, Inc.
