The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Equipment Maintenance contract to Dionex Corporation, 1228 Titan Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1. The performance period for this effort is 1 year from date of award with four 1 year options. The estimated total contract award amount with options is $136,618 firm-fixed price. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days of the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
