This is a requirement for Maintenance and Overhaul (M&O) of the subject item for the UH-60M aircraft. No surplus parts shall be used or applied.

The proposed contractual action will be a five year M&O requirements contract with quantities as stated above. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials for the overhaul. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agencys requirement. This item is not identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Only the prime contractor, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1378 (CAGE: 78286) can perform the overhaul since no DMWR has been identified for this requirement and the overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with contractor specifications. Technical data is not currently available. Drawings are proprietary and not available to the Government. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitations must be processed through their respective embassies.
