This announcement is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay or reimburse any costs associated with parties for their responses to this Request for Information (RFI). The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this RFI announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 on behalf of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 2 James J. Peters VA Medical Center, VA New Jersey Healthcare System, VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System, VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, and Northport VA Medical Center is currently conducting market research for responsible concerns able to provide Coagulation & Special Coagulation Instrumentation and Testing Services. The VISN 2 Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services Departments requires analyzers (inclusive of parts, service, preventive maintenance, and labor), reagents, controls, calibrators, kits (for tests, controls, calibrators), repeats, dilutions, and consumables (e.g., cups, tips) for Coagulation and Special Coagulation testing services through Cost Per Reportable Results (CPRR). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via (email) no later than Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00AM to Contracting Officer, Ms. Gina A. Blum, [email protected]. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 334516. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov).
