The USGS, Western Region Branch of Regional Research has a requirement for an Automatic Methyl Mercury (MeHg) Analyzer, and associated accessories, software and equipment, with the following general capabilities (or equivalent). The unit should be capable of automated operation and have characteristics which include features similar to: 72 Position Autosampler with 3 x 24 vial racks; Automated MeHg Purge and Trap Module; Automated GC & Prolysis Module; associated accessories such as: autosampler needle, MeHg Standards, Tubing, ethylating reagent kit, Hg Removal Traps, vials, waste container, USB/RS232 adapter hub, power strip, squirt bottle, bottles, acetate buffer; associated Mercury (Hg) Analysis software and accessories; assistance in installation; and on-site training on the equipment as installed. Anticipated RFQ release date is 7/6/2011.
