Bruker Nano is the only one that offers Peak Force QNM or analogous imaging mode that unambiguously maps quantitative nanomechanical properties, including modulus and adhesion, at high resolution (<10 nanometers) at conventional imaging rates (<10 minutes per image) and over wide modulus range (at least 1 MPa to 50 GPa). The government's intended use includes, as a primary requirement, rapid, gentle, and quantitative measures of modulus and adhesion; alternate approaches to these measurements are either nonquantitative (Phase Imaging or Pulsed Force), slow (force0volume) or high force (Pulsed Force or nanoindentation).
