PRESOLICITATION NOTICE RFQ #36C77623Q0161 RAPID CITY PACKAGE 082 REPETITIVE TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION MACHINE (rTMS) (OR EQUAL) February 28, 2023 The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Black Hills Healthcare System (VA BHHCS), Rapid City Community Based Outpatient Clinic (RCCBOC) in Rapid City, SD. has a requirement to purchase Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Machine (rTMS) equipment (brand name or equal) in support of the activation of the VA BHHCS Outpatient Clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota. This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201, FAR 5.204, and FAR 13.105. The solicitation will be issued as a brand name or equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Small Business (SB) concerns conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, FAR 13.106-1(d), FAR 19.502-2, and VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.502-2. The formal request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities on/about Thursday March 2, 2023, and quotes will be due on Monday March 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM (Eastern). To submit a quote in response to this notice, please follow the directions in the RFQ that can be found through Contract Opportunities at the RFQ number identified above. A copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) and Salient Characteristics are included with this Pre-Solicitation Notice for your information. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via email at [email protected]. Telephone calls will not be accepted as a part of this notice. Technical and contract-related questions in response to the RFQ will be accepted in accordance with the RFQ instructions. PLEASE NOTE: The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date, and not award a contract. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse any Offeror for any costs incurred.
