The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 2), James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx, New York, in support of the Northport VA Medical Center (NVAMC) intends to procure on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)) from Alliant Enterprises, LLC. The NVAMC has a requirement for replacement Olympus IR telescope equipment. The intent is to procure through the sole authorized service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) distributor, Alliant Enterprises, LLC. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334510 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. The FSC code for this procurement is 6515. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. Parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required supplies and/or services. All capability statements received by closing of this notification will be considered. A determination not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
