Period of performance will be a base plus one option year. These tests kits will be used to detect Influenza A&B, SARS Cov2 in nasopharyngeal samples, C. difficile toxin in patient specimens, MRSA/SA in blood cultures and wound samples and Chlamydia and Neisseria gonorrhea in patient specimens. Market research has concluded Cepheid is the only manufacturer to meet the compatibility standardization requirements of NCO2. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers.
