PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) 36E79720R0060 for an unrestrictive procurement for Needles & Syringes, for Outpatient Pharmacies dispensing at the medical facility level for VA, IHS, BOP, and FHCC. The VA will award one or up to two contracts to the responsible offeror(s) who will be able to provide an uninterrupted source of supply for the contracted items. The Government may award two separate contracts for Group A and Group B, or a single contract for both groups. The contract period will be for one year plus four pre-priced one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Programs for Pharmacy Personnel to order Medical/Surgical ( Med/Surg ) items. Offerors must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the Needles or Syringes will be supplied and have a unique GTIN or UPC number. Solicitation #ÃÂ 36E79720R0060 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about July 30th, 2020 with a tentative closing dateÃÂ of August 15th, 2020.
