The US Europe Regional Contracting Office, on behalf of the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Virology Division, US Hospital, has a requirement for a purchase of xTAG Respiratory Viral Panel tests and a software manufactured by Luminex. The equipment to be purchased must be a FDA-approved and meet an electrical requirement of 220 Volt and 50Hz. ERCO intends to negotiate a sole source contract for the purchase of this equipment with Abbott GmbH, Max-Planck-Ring 2, Wiesbaden 65205, Germany. The intent is to make a sole source award pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a) (2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability within the established timeframe is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated capability within the established timeframe.
