It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties must respond to the solicitation separately from their response to the sources sought notice. Work performed under any resultant contract will be in accordance with commercial and industry standards, and all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and procedures. The 43rd Contracting Squadron, Pope AFB, NC, is soliciting to identify sources that are capable of providing service to the 43rd MDG Medical Laboratory?s Vitros 250 analyzer. This service contract includes quarterly servicing and maintenance as well as providing approximately twenty different types of reagent analytes which will total nearly 80,000 tests. The contractor will also provide the necessary quality control materials and calibrators used to ensure accurate reporting of patient results. The contractor will also provide emergency service calls during business hours. In the event of a machine breakage, the contractor will provide the laboratory with a replacement Vitros 250 analyzer at no additional charge until the contractor can repair and return the Government owned analyzer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325413, with a small business standard size of 500 employees.
