The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Small Businesses, including Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and Veteran-Owned Small Business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112.
The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking small business manufacturers, distributors of small business manufacturers, or veteran-owned small businesses capable of providing the exact match or equal equipment to the following Micromedical Technologies vestibular testing system and products:
VisualEyes (VISEYE4FIRE) 4 Channel VNG System to include at least:
Tests for: Saccade, smooth pursuit, OPK, caloric, gaze, positional, hallpike.
Video recording that synchronizes with tracing
Video Goggles with camera and automatic pupil location
Wireless remote
Digital light bar, tripod or wall mount
Compatible computer/printer
All testing through one set of goggles
Vorteq/VHIT/DVA-T (DVA-T)
FX Caloric Irrigator (AFX-1)
The system is an assessment tool used to identify abnormalities in the vestibular system and assess balance disorders.
Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating capability and experience for providing this or similar products. Please include your business size with your response. If providing a response to this notice and offering equipment as a distributor (non-manufacturer) offerors are required to submit proof from the manufacturer of authorization to distribute the offered equipment. If the information listed above is not included in the response to this notice the response may not be considered.
This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and responses will not be returned to the sender.
