This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 334516; SBA Size Standard is 500 employees. This is as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is BRAND NAME ONLY, no substitutions will be accepted. The Varian IR-640 Mid FTIR system and its software shall ensure that the DoDs controlled substance training aid program for the Military Working Dog Program is forensically sound, efficient and cost effective. The precise and accurate preparation of these training aids is paramount for the effectiveness and safety of working dog training, which impacts on drug enforcement efforts on military installations worldwide. Varian Inc is the only manufacturer that provides Pike MIRacle Single Bounce ATR w/ZnSE crystal that will enable compatibility with the current accessories used at DFT.

The delivery date for this item is 60 days ARO. Shipping shall be FOB destination to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology Washington, DC 20306.
