The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 18 - Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), 3601 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85723 has a requirement for ten new PickPoint units and six upgrades. The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System plans to deploy PickPoint units to the outlying CBOCs, Women's Health Clinic, PACU, Building 90, and other SAVAHCS locations. Ten units are required to meet our targets. The SAVAHCS is successfully using PickPoint RDS units in the emergency department(ED) and after-hours clinic areas. PickPoint allows for direct Point of Care prescription dispensing via a secure and safe clinician driven system. The intent of the procurement is to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order on FSS. The type of products to be purchased are specific and must be compatible for use with the existing equipment. The applicable NAICS code is 334510- Electromedical and Electrother. Small Business manufacturers for this NAICS code have a size standard of 500 employees or less. The resulting contract will have fixed unit costs for the catheters. The term of the FFP is intended to be Net 30 after Period of Performance. It is anticipated that a Request for Quotes will be issued in May, 2014. Award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order on FSS is contemplated by June, 2014. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Small Businesses (SB), or Large Business capable of performing the requirements to warrant a socio-economic set-aside or full & open competition. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database.
