Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2)., A determination not to compete this proposal procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Anticipated award date is September 27, 2010, NAICS Code is 423440 and size standards are $100 Million. Jordan Reses Supply Company is the only vendor that provides V60 Ventilator transport package w/ C-Flex and AVAPS software. There are no other vendors on the market (V60 Ventilator transport package w/ C-Flex and AVAPS software).
b. Efforts made to ensure that offers are solicited from as many potential sources as practical:
The mandatory source, GSA, was researched.

The GSA Schedule, a mandatory source, was research and revealed no contract vendors for a Jordan Reses Supply Company V60 Ventilator transport package w/ C-Flex and AVAPS software.

a. Explanation of why technical data, specifications, engineering descriptions, statement of work or purchase descriptions suitable for full open and competition have not been developed or are not available:
