Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with a sole source procurement for the required supplies and or services. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. To the best of our knowledge, Carl Zeiss Microimaging Inc of Thornwood, NY is the only source that can provide the above items that will be seamless in the upgrade of our VA Owned Microscope. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within six (06) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
