The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 619 S. Marion Ave., Lake City, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation, 375 Marcus Blvd, Hauppage, NY 11788. The proposed contract action is for a contract which will require the company to provide 135 Hygeaire Ultraviolet Light units for use in a research project. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their intent and capability to respond to the requirement no later than August 31, 2007, to be considered. Offerors must provide technical information which provides proof of the capability to meet or exceed the quality of the Hygeaire Ultraviolet Lights. No solicitation will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
