The Department of Veteran Affairs is considering purchasing one, temporary. pacemaker (EPG), capable of single and dual chamber pacing, and two, temporary, fixation, leads (intravenous, bipolar). The temporary, external, pacemaker will be used in the Emergency Room at the Wilmington, Delaware VAMC to stimulate the heart in case of rhythm disturbances and conduction defects. The products must meet government standards (RoHS and 60601-1 (3rd Edition)).
