This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PC-08-Q-88000127 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-17. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 424210 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This requirement is set-aside for small business vendors only. The Peace Corps requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: CLIN 001, Tamiflu, 75mg, 10 Capsules in 1 Blister Pack, NDC #0004-0800-85, Quantity = 2000. Expiration Date must be 2011 or greater. The Peace Corps reserves the right to award at a quantity less than 2000 at the unit price proposed by vendors. Vendors shall state any quantity/price breaks within their quote. Also, vendors must specify expiration date and delivery schedule. Delivery shall be made within 30 days or less after receipt of order. FOB Destination shall be Washington, DC 20526. Solicitation provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Item are hereby incorporated by reference. The Government will evaluate quotes in response to the combined synopsis/solicitation on the basis of low price, technically acceptable.
