Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), sole source justification is based on Arthrex is the only company that makes these particular consumable items and implants, as well as sets and instruments for special type of orthopedic muculo-skeletal injures that require surgery with available representation for every case. Consumable work in conjunction with existing government owned Arthrex equipment and instrumentations.
