INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with BIOCAMPATIBLES INC of 115 HURLEY ROAD BULDING 3A OXFORD, CT 06478-1046 under FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements for purchase of the following scope of medical supplies: Stuck number VE220GS Product Description 15 each Particle Embolization Polyviny Alcohol Based Hydrogel, 100-300 Microns Yellow 2 ML Microsphere Sterile in Buffered Saline The estimated value of this contract is $27,690.00 to be delivered no later than Monday Aug 27, 2012. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation package is not available. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition is attainable and more advantageous to the Government and must be received by the Contracting Officer, in writing, no later than Aug 24, 2012.
