The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 is seeking preferably, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small businesses (SDVOSB) to provide BRAND NAME ONLY, Prime Big Wheel Stretchers for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, 510 E. Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71101. Any prospective contractor must be authorized/certified to sell the products described and show proof of that authorization at the time of responding to this Sources Sought announcement. Offeror s response to this notice shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information: Offeror s company name, DUNS, Federal Tax ID, address, point of contact, title, phone number, and email address. Offeror s interest in bidding on the solicitation if it is issued to www.fbo.gov Offeror s capability to meet this requirement including current contracts (Civilian or Government). Response must show clear and convincing evidence that your company has the capabilities and qualifications to provide the services to be considered as a source. SDVOSB and VOSB shall also show evidence that they will perform 51% of the work (additional 5 pages allowed). All parties are asked to identify any subcontractors that shall be utilized. Offeror s type of business (small or large) and socioeconomic status of any kind. If applicable, SDVOSB, VOSB, and any subcontractor must be verified with the seal in Vetbiz to be considered as a source. The NAICS code 339113, Surgical Appliance & Supplies Manufacturing, applies and the Size Standard is 750 employees. Important information: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. However, if response by Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms proves inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined. No subcontracting opportunity is anticipated. Responses must be received no later than July 26, 2017, 12:00pm, Central Standard Time (CST).
