The intent of this Request for Information is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g set-aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a solicitation that VA intends to post in the near future. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following:

SCOPE OF WORK
Siemens Magnetom TRIO 3T Neck Matrix Coil Exchange

SECTION A
Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment to exchange the not fully-functioning Siemens Magnetom Trio 3T neck matrix coil equipment at the Michael E. Debakey Medical Center located at 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools to perform the exchange of the not fully-functioning Siemens Magnetom Trio 3T neck matrix coil equipment. Contractor shall certify that the biomedical equipment is functioning properly and safely and ready for use. Contractor must provide 1 year of documentation that their company has worked on the equipment specified above. Following the inspection, contractor must demonstrate to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or designee that the equipment runs properly according to manufacturer specifications. The contract price shall be firm-fixed, all-inclusive, and not limited to specified products/equipment, installation, and setup/configuration.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
1) Contractor will exchange the not fully-functioning Siemens Magnetom Trio 3T neck matrix coil equipment at the Michael E. Debakey Medical Center located at 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030 with a new, fully-functioning and same model replacement for the not fully-functioning Siemens Magnetom Trio 3.0T neck matrix coil.
2) The Contractor will not act outside of the scope of this project without guidance from the COR.
PRIVACY/SECURITY
The contractor will not have electronic connectivity to the devices and will not have access to patient databases or receive screenshots with PHI present.
Any electronic or magnetic data storage devices such as hard drives, etc. shall be turned into the ISO. Electronic or magnetic data storage devices are not to be removed from VA property.
