The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Base plus four option year contract with the small business manufacturer Satisloh North America, Inc. This procurement is for consumable supplies (see attached list Part Numbers are Satisloh numbers) used with Satisloh equipment in Ophthalmic Eyewear manufacturing. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339115. The supplies must compatible and approved for use with the following Satisloh equipment: Alloy Replacement Technology (ART) Blockers-A & M, VFT-Orbit Generators, DUO-Flex Polishers, ART De-blocker-A & M, MC-380-X Vacuum Box Coater, ES-Curve edging system and ES-4 edging system. This procurement is limited to one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source, as no other supplies with satisfy the Agency s requirement. The anticipated award date: February 12, 2018.
