The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to award a sole source, simplified acquisition to Neogen Corporation, 620 Lesher Place, Lansing, MI 48912. The requirement is for Reveal for E. coli O157:H7 test system. (product number 9754 Reveal for E. coli O157:H7 multipack-contains two 10 packs of devices) The Reveal for E. coli tests are proprietary to Neogen Corporation. The Reveal for E. coli test system is the only system validated for use by a FSIS collaborative laboratory study. This is not request for competitive quotations. Award will be made utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13-501(a). No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested concerns may submit a capability statement within 10 days after the publication date of this notice. All timely responses will be considered, however, a determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses should be addressed to the attention of the Contracting Officer referencing number FSIS-14-B-04.
