The Southern Regional Contracting Office, Ft. Gordon, GA intends to issue a purhase order pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) on a sole source basis to Quest Diagnostics, for 84 each Quest Reference Lab Maternal Serum Screen, Part 2. The required items are proprietary to Quest Diagnostics and are part of a two-step test that is used on pregnant patients to determine the risk of Down Syndrome, Edward Syndrome or neural tube defects in the developing fetus and must be conducted utilizing the same laboratory for both test to ensure accurate results. Applicable NAICS is 339112. This action will be conducted IAW FAR 12 and 13. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability (include detailed technical information and other technical literature) demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements by e-mailing the Contracting Officer at [email protected] no later than 5:00 PM Central Time, 18 April 2014. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
