The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport LA intends to enter into a sole source Cellestis Inc to Quantiferon-TB Gold in Tube Multi Pack Kit and Quantiferon-TB Gold Elisa. This announcement constitutes the only notice issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.301, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and pen competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The NAICS 325413 applies with a size standard of 500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses to this notice by 2:00 p.m. (CST) December 7, 2010. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be in writing to the Contracting Officer.
