The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Ancare, 2647 Grand Avenue, Bellmore, NY 11710-0814, for custom stainless steel racks and custom 3-sided bulk trucks for use in animal care. The description of each is as follows: Stainless steel adjustable 4-shelf rack with 4 solid stainless steel shelves, 24âx60â, dimensions 24âx60âx72âH with casters, stainless steel casters with four 5â phenolic/autoclavable wheels, two braking; custom stainless steel 3-sided bulk truck with stainless steel casters and 6â phenolic/autoclavable wheels, two braking, dimensions 24âx60âx56âH with casters, enclosed on three sides by heavy-duty stainless steel rods. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
