This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement to CALDERA MEDICAL, INC. This requirement is for the purchase of Caldera Desara Mesh for the Gynecological/Urology Gynecological Surgery Service used in the Department of Surgery/Operating Room located at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), 2817 Reilly Road, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. Caldera Medical will place Reusable-Autoclavable Introducers at the facility on a consignment basis at no charge for the duration of time the facility is routinely using Caldera Desara implants. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No compatibles or substitutes accepted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
