FISC Norfolk Philadelphia Division intends to solicit on a sole source pursuant to FAR 6-302-1 using commercial items acquisition procedures as defined under FAR part 12, and using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR part 13.5 with Genvac of Gaithersburg, MD for 1 lot of vector seed stock of adenovector expressing plasmodium vivax circumsporozoite protein for the continuation of an on-going malaria research conducted by the Naval Medical Research Command. The estimated delivery of this material is mid July 07. A firm fixed price contracts is the anticipated result of this negotiation effort. The NACIS code for this effort is 325411.
