The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 22 Logistics Office intends to procure sole source from American Medical Systems for the consignment of penile prosthesis. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition. This notice is not a request for offers. All proposals received by 4:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, July 7, 2005 will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated date of award is August 1, 2005.
