The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Hampton, intends to solicit and award a firmed fixed price sole source purchase order to PAR Excellence Systems, Inc. for the procurement of a PAR Bin medical supply inventory system. This purchase is for a commercial item and will be made using FAR 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR 13. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), the Justification and Approval is attached. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, interested contractors may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort via e-mail to Renata Y. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
