The US Army Medical Command Southern Region - East has a requirement for various Bone Graft Extender Kits for patient specific surgeries. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The suggested contractor is Discovery Medical, Inc., 999 Chestnut Street, Suite 16, Gainesville, GA 30501-6963

1 each Nove Bone Putty bone graft substitute - Syringe delivery, 2.5 cc, sterile,
item #: NB2602.

4 each Nove Bone Putty bone graft substitute - Syringe delivery, 5 cc, sterile, item #: NB2605.

1 each Nove Bone Putty bone graft substitute - Syringe delivery, 10 cc, sterile, item #: NB2610.

1 each MacroPor Si+, modable porous structure that allows for rapid vascularization and mineralization which will allow for complete device absorption and replacement by new bone, 5 cc, 2.0 - 5.0 mm Morsels, item #: NB2505.

This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. However, companies that can provide an equal product MUST SUBMIT THEIR TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES TO INCLUDE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THEIR PRODUCT, PAST PERFORMANCE INFORMATION, PRICE, DELIVERY TIME AND TECHNICAL/MEDICAL SUPPORT within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives from Eisenhower Army Medical Center for consideration for future requirements. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
