The procurement is for a Savi Scout SSCSYS-01 - SCOUT Console 2.5D and Guide for the Portland VA Medical Center located in Portland, OR. This is a FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) single source procurement and will be justified under the authority of Other Than Full and Open Competition in FAR 6.302-1 and 41 USC 3304(a)(1). Only one source reasonably available because of exclusive licensing agreements and no other requirement will satisfy the needs of the Government. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334510 This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement. The Government plans to award a contract for this requirement on 02/08/2019. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
