The US Army Medical Command North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Alcon Laboratories, Inc., 6201 South Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76134-2001 for an Infiniti Vision System Ozil for use at Ireland Army Community Hospital, Ft. Knox, KY, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The IACH operating room currently uses this equipment, supplies are on hand that are compatable with this system.

This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code is 339112, size standard is 500. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
