SPECIAL NOTICE
The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System proposes to negotiate a noncompetitive award with GE Healthcare for the provision of a 1.5 MR Touch software upgrade for the GE 450 and 750 MRI units that reside within the diagnostic department at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS). This software upgrade is proprietary to GE Healthcare. This software upgrade will improve patient outcomes while facilitating more efficient and economical patient care processes as well as delivering first class care to veteran patients. This award is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations: Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by October 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.,CST in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
