This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award a contract pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The Army Contracting Agency at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico has a requirement for ten Allied Medical Products, Physio Control (Medtronic) LifePak 500 AED LP-500A defibrillators a nd ten Pelican Brand Watertight Carrying Cases Part Number 3005384-002. Allied Medical Products is the only known source that can provide these defibrillators and carrying cases. Only this brand of defibrillator may be used due to the compatibility requ irement with existing equipment. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 423450 and 100 employees. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. Payment will be made by Government Credit Card. All offers sh all be priced FOB Destination White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. Anyone able to provide the Allied Medical Products Physio Control (Medtronic) LifePak 500 AED LP-500A defibrillator and the Pelican Brand Watertight Carrying Case Part Number 3005384-002 is encouraged to respond. If you are selected, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to receive the award.
